Some things you'd like to know, some things we have to tell you!
Are men allowed to the open forum networking & exhibition?
Answer: This is really about women and trying to get in on gender equality issues. Men may help set up and help at close.
May we bring our children?
Answer: Yes, over 5s are allowed but you must take full responsibility for them. Our aim is to be as women friendly as possible, so your kids are welcome, free, for as long as they are over 5 and under 17. You must let us know in advance as there is very limited space for children.
May men assist us with our stall/ exhibitions on the day?
We would prefer women! However, they may assist on the day but will need to leave, for the open forum networking & exhibition
Can men come and network at the open forum networking and exhibition?
Answer: Yes but this is really for women only.
What do I get for my money?
Answer: see here
Where does the money go?
Answer:This is a wholly not- for- profit organization. What little is charged goes towards the cost of the events, designated volunteer expenses, such as transport. It's all about a passion to help, rather than making money! That's why we are able to maintain these extremely low prices.
If I take a stall, can we bring our pop- up banners and other things?
Answer: Yes
I would like to know more.
Answer: Connect
I have paid for a stall, do I pay for main event as well?
Answer: No, its all inclusive and entitles you to invite a friend to the entire event free or to support you.
I've booked a stall, can I distribute leaflets for a friend's business?
Answer: No. You may display as many of your own businesses, but none, on behalf of anyone else. This would not be fair to those that have paid. There is an option for targeted leaflet insertion, to promote business/service, for those unable to attend. Remember events are in the continually on the offing
Do I need to bring a printed ticket or do I just walk in?
Answer: For as long as you have registered, you do not need to print a ticket. If you have not, you are welcome to attend but registration will need to take place, at the door, for a charge of £2.50.
